Lisa graduated from De Montfort University in Leicester in 2005 with a Diploma in Adult Nursing. Lisa has extensive experience as a lead practitioner, responsible for holding a large caseload, involving patients with long term conditions, life limiting illness, profound and multiple disabilities and brain injury. All of her cases have been complex and required a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure the best outcome for the patient.

Lisa also has experience of working with adults who do not have mental capacity to make informed decisions or to consent to treatment which has provided her with experience and skills in case management for patients with complex needs.

Lisa is now working as a part time case manager with Tania brown Limited, working with people with complex injuries, including acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries. Her role as case manager allows her to work with people without capacity and with those with profound and complex disabilities.

Over her long career in nursing, Lisa has gained extensive knowledge and experience in working with people and their families in their own homes, and in assisting people to cope with the countless problems that occur when living with a disability and illness.
